REBAR
WHEN IS REBAR USED?
In providing additional support to concrete structures rebar is used in concrete projects where the final project requires considerably more strength than concrete alone. This strength is crucial for things like buildings – both domestic and commercial all types of concrete storage tanks – agricultural and industrial and in some roads and driveways.
HOW IS REBAR SHAPED?
Rebar shapes can be achieved by manually bending the REBAR into a required shape. Such a practice is time consuming, expensive and very labour intensive. The most cost effective and efficient way of manufacturing rebar shapes is to do what GALWAY REBAR LIMITED does - which is to use an automatic computerised bending machine. The internationally recognised rebar codes are programmed into the machine, steel coils are fed into the machine and the required shapes are achieved in a very efficient and cost effective manner.
